A booking is confirmed once we receive your deposit and you receive written confirmation from us. Itineraries, hotel names, and prices quoted before deposit are indicative and subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
We typically require a deposit to confirm a booking, with the remaining balance due ahead of travel — the exact schedule is confirmed in your itinerary proposal, since it varies by trip length and season. Accepted payment methods are shared at booking.
Because hotels, drivers, and permits are booked and paid for in advance on your behalf, cancellations made closer to your travel date carry a higher cancellation charge. As a general guide: cancellations 30+ days before travel receive the largest refund of amounts paid; cancellations inside 7 days of travel are typically non-refundable. Your specific booking confirmation will state the exact cancellation terms that apply.
We're happy to adjust an itinerary before departure, subject to availability; changes may affect pricing. Once travel has begun, changes requested on the ground are accommodated where possible but may involve additional cost.
You're responsible for holding a valid passport, visa, and any required permits for the regions you'll visit; we advise on requirements but final responsibility for valid documentation rests with the traveller.
Saaga Tours arranges transport, accommodation, and guiding services through vetted local partners, and takes reasonable care in selecting them. We are not liable for circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather, road closures, flight delays, or government restrictions (force majeure).
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and baggage, for every traveller on every trip.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Uttar Pradesh, India.
