Overview

The Golden Triangle is where most journeys through North India begin, and for good reason. In under a week you move between three cities that between them hold Mughal tombs, medieval forts, a living pink-sandstone old city and the single most photographed building on earth. Saaga Tours paces the route so you're never rushing between sights — mornings at the monuments before the crowds, afternoons free, and a private car and driver the whole way.

Trip Highlights

  • Sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, timed to beat the tour-bus crowds
  • Agra Fort and the red-sandstone quarters of the Mughal court
  • Jaipur's Amber Fort, City Palace and the pink old city bazaars
  • Private air-conditioned car and driver for the full circuit
  • English-speaking local guides at each stop

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we extend the Golden Triangle into Rajasthan?

Yes — this circuit connects naturally into our Rajasthan Royal Circuit tour, continuing on to Udaipur, Jodhpur and Jaisalmer.

Is 5 days enough, or should we take 7?

5 days covers the essentials comfortably. 7 days adds breathing room in Delhi and a stop at Fatehpur Sikri without rushing the drive days.

How early is the Taj Mahal sunrise visit?

Gates open around 6:00–6:30am depending on the season; we arrange pickup roughly 45 minutes before sunrise.
